A construction project in St. Clairsville is stalling the drive for people traveling on a section of National Road where one lane is open for travel in both directions.

The city is in the process of putting a new lane in for eastbound traffic, toward the mall.

Crews will be working until at least November. The money for the project came from a federal grant.
