Powhatan Point Curbside Recycling

Curbside recycling will be held every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

Recycling containers must be in place by 8:00 am and should be placed where you normally leave your trash container for pick-up

Accepted items:

Glass jars (all colors - please remove lids)
Plastic bottles #1 and #2 (look on the bottom of the container for the #)
Steel, tin and aluminum cans
Corrugated cardboard, newspaper and paper (examples: envelopes, brochures, catalogs, folders, magazines, telephone books, advertisements)

Tips:

Please remember: use only the recycling container issued to you by the Village
Place the jars, bottles and cans together in the recycling container
Please bundle your newspaper, cardboard and paper with string or place in a paper bag
It is not necessary to remove labels from bottles and cans
