Going Green – Schools/Union Local/Union Local Middle School

Union Local Middle School is affiliated with the Belmont County Recycling and Litter Prevention Office in Bethesda. The school has been recycling paper for several years and last year participated in a contest on plastic recycling and plans are to participate in the plastic recycling program again this year. In less than two months, 1,582 pounds of #1 plastic was recycled.
