Going Green Schools - Harrison County Schools - Harrison Hopedale Elementary School

Harrison Hopedale Elementary School will be “going green” throughout the end of the school year.

On April 1, the school started an aluminum can drive, with the money earned from the recycling to be used to purchase new gym equipment.

Pop tabs collected will be donated to Akron Children’s Hospital.

On May 15, the fourth-grade will be performing a spring musical program entitled “Update Earth: Save the Planet.”

The sixth-graders will be singing two Earth-inspired songs and performing a percussion piece with recyclable products.

The entire school will be making art projects out of recyclable goods to hang in the hallways from May 12-16 with everything recycled at the end of the school year.
