Four Minor Leaguers Suspended By MLB

New York, NY -- (Sports Network) - Major League Baseball suspended Chicago Cubs minor league pitchers Arturo Florentino, Carlos Galvez and Jose Tineo and Texas Rangers minor league pitcher Michael De La Cruz 50 games after each tested positive for a metabolite of Boldenone, a performance-enhancing substance.All four players were playing in the Dominican summer league. The suspension of De La Cruz is effective immediately, while the suspensions of Florentino, Galvez and Tineo will be effective at the start of next season.
