New Details Two Men Found On Sidewalk; One Shot

The Weirton Police Department arrested one man in connection with a Saturday morning shooting.Police told NEWS9 that 25-year-old Chad Scott Beaver, of Weirton, will be charged with malicious wounding.While on routine patrol, Weirton police found 22 year old Mike Eckles, of Weirton, and 29 year old Shawn Spencer, of Follansbee, lying in the 3100 block of Main Street.Eckles was beaten and Spencer was the victim of several gunshot wounds, police said.Police said Spencer is in serious but stable condition in a Pittsburgh hospital.Police do not have a motive for the shooting.Dino Orsatti NEWS9
