The Robert W. Ney Center located at Ohio University Eastern in St. Clairsville may see a name change after December 1st.

University officials are meeting to discuss the possibility of a name change because of the current government situation involving Bob Ney.

Since Ney has pleaded guilty to corruption charges and resigned from congress, they said they need to evaluate if his name should still represent the building.

Ney helped bring federal funds for the construction of the building back in 1997.
