Police in McMechen arrested an out-of-state fugitive over the weekend after they said she was acting suspicious.

Police said Bobbie Jo Dennis was by her car in an area of town that is being monitored. They said she acted suspicious, so they performed a background check.

Dennis is wanted out of North Carolina and Virginia. She is in jail waiting to be extradited back to Virginia to face charges that she assaulted a police officer.
