Officials said a woman was severely injured when she was thrown from a vehicle after a crash in Belmont County.

State troopers said the woman was driving north on Route 149 Wednesday night when she veered off the side of the road, struck a tree and knocked down a power line. The car then rolled over and the woman was ejected from the vehicle.

Officials said the woman smelled of alcohol but she had not been cited as of Thursday morning.

Officials said the crash remains under investigation.
