UPDATED: 6:57 pm EDT July 25, 2007

The rides are now in storage as crews continue to move earth to the future site of the Wild Escape Theme Park in the Highlands.

Steve Minard, the overseer of the project, said that crews are also talking about maintaining the ecosystem in the area and along Middle Wheeling Creek.

Minard also said they are working with the county to find ways to make the project move along faster.

"We've got a temporary area that we may be using for the parking lot, which will allow us to maybe shave off three or four months," Mindard said.

Of the estimated $50 million for the project, $10 million has already been invested, according to Mindard, mainly in ride equipment.
