East Liverpool Man Charged In Connection With Kitten Slayings

An East Liverpool man will face two counts of animal cruelty for allegedly throwing two kittens from a car window and running them over.

Bradley Cianni is accused of tossing the kittens from his car on Nov. 4 near the Hancock County Animal Shelter while workers and children looked on.

Prosecutors said the shelter did not accept the kittens from Cianni because he is an Ohio resident. Cianni then threw the kittens and ran over them.

One of the kittens was killed instantly. The other was euthanized as a result of its injuries.
