As teachers and board members in the Harrison Hills school District enter the second week of a teacher strike, both parties were in a courtroom Monday.

The Harrison Hills City School Board has filed another unfair labor practice complaint against the Harrison Hills teachers’ association for allegedly violating Ohio law and engaging in illegal conduct against a Harrison Hills school board member prior to the strike.

The board filed also filed a separate complaint last week. The teachers union filed an unfair labor practice complaint last week as well.

A judge is urging both sides to talk with their lawyers before a hearing continues Monday.

The teachers went on strike last Monday. Schools have remained open, with substitute teachers in the classrooms.
