Wheeling Island Racetrack & Gaming Center To Hold Soft Opening

Wheeling Island Racetrack & Gaming Center will hold two charity poker events on Monday, Oct. 15 and Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007 from 4pm-8pm.The soft opening will give dealers a chance to get on-hand training.“The next two days will be a soft opening to fine-tune operational details as we prepare to open our new Poker Room to our guests. If all goes well, we will be ready to open within the week,” said Bob Marshall, president and general manager of Wheeling Island, in a news release.All proceeds will go to charity.John Paul, NEWS9
