Three Arrested In Harrison Drug Investigation
Child Endangerment Charges Pending

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio -- Deputies in Harrison County raided two homes at the same time for drugs Tuesday evening, and found children inside one of the houses.Deputies arrested Christopher Daniska, 22, and Dorothy Van Horne, 21, in the couple's home in New Rumley.Sheriff Mark Miller said Daniska was selling marijuana out of the home, and when detectives got on scene, they found two children, ages 4 years and 15 months, sitting inside.Van Horne, the mother, faces child endangerment charges.Deputies served another warrant in Cadiz, where they arrested Tim McDonald, II of Cadiz, on charges of trafficking cocaine.Miller said he's been working with prosecutors on these cases for about a month."Any time you go in a house with a search warrant for drugs, and you see little kids, it's very sad," said Miller. "It's a shame things happen like this, but we're here to stop it."All three suspects were taken to the Jefferson County Jail.Child protective services has placed the children with other family members.Natalie Pasquarella, NEWS9
