Suspect In Wheeling Abduction Case In Indiana Jail

The suspect in a Wheeling abduction, rape and release case is in an Indiana jail cell, and it may be months before he's brought back to the valley to face federal charges, according to police.After being on the run for months, Joshua Ridings was being held in a Kentucky jail cell when Wheeling police announced they had the man for whom they were looking.Before Ridings is brought back to Ohio County, he's facing charges in Indiana. As of Thursday, he's being held in Warrick County Jail. He faces several charges, including residential entry and public indecency. His trial there is set for July 15.He faces more charges in nearby Vanderburgh County, Indiana. A warrant for his arrest was issued Sept. 11 for criminal confinement, two counts of sexual battery and public indecency charges.Ridings will face charges in both of those counties before he's brought to Ohio County. Police said that may not happen until late summer or early fall.
