WHEELING, W.Va. -- As Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy struggles to keep its doors open, students held vigil in hopes that the school's light won't fade away."We love ‘Mount’. We don't want this school to close," said a student.Supporters paraded across school grounds Friday night. They held candles and sang songs through the harsh, cold weather."A lot of us just came out in our uniforms with nothing else on. It was pretty cold, but you know, we love this school and we want it to continue to be open and be able to educate young women," said a student. The students also wrote messages of hope and stuffed them away in a time capsule. They said they were optimistic that future students will open it one day and know how important the “Mount” is to them.
