Space, Other Members Of Congress Get Letters Possibly Tied To NY Bombing

Caption Beneath Picture Of Times Square Recruiting Office Reads 'We Did It'

A law enforcement official said police are investigating letters sent to Capitol Hill offices showing pictures of a Times Square military recruiting station that was bombed early Thursday morning.

A member of Rep. Zack Space, D-Dover, confirmed for NEWS9 that his office did receive one of those packages, which included a holiday card-style photograph of a man standing in front of the recruiting office.

A printed caption beneath the picture read "Happy New Year, We Did It."

Investigators do not know how many other members of Congress received those pacakges.

NEWS9 has verified that Rep. Charlie Wilson, D-St. Clairsville, did not receive one.

The small bomb caused minor damage to the New York military recruiting station before dawn Thursday, and police were searching for a hooded bicyclist seen on a surveillance video pedalling away.
