Story

Fire Breaks Out At Local Coke Plant

A fire started Thursday at the Mountain State Carbon Plant in Follansbee, W.Va.

Brooke County emergency officals told NEWS9 that it started shortly before 4:30p.m.

Officials say the fire was contained to a portion of the bag house area of the plant.

There are no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
