Ohio Valley Gas Prices Continue To Rise

Gas prices are rising again, hitting close to the $4 mark.Depending on where you fill up, you may be able to get gas a little cheaper.You may cringe when you see it; NEWS9 crews caught a glimpse of the prices Tuesday morning at $3.95 for a gallon of regular unleaded.Our cameras spotted some gas stations in Steubenville selling for $3.79, even $3.59 a gallon.Drivers said they’re feeling the pain worse than ever.“Once Speedway goes up they all follow. They’ll probably lower it slowly like they always do,” said Steubenville resident Roger Turner.According to AAA’s daily fuel gauge, the average price of a gallon of unleaded gas in the Steubenville, Weirton and Wheeling areas is averaging $3.77 a gallon.
