New Prescription Drug Program Offers Discounts
If you live in Ohio or West Virginia, you may be able to cash in on a free discount prescription drug card.The Ohio Drug Card program is available to Ohio and West Virginia residents.The program’s funding comes from various pharmaceutical companies.There are no applications to fill out to get the card.Savings run anywhere from 30 to 75 percent on prescriptions.“There are no qualifications, no maximum or minimum incomes. Anyone can go online and print a card,” said Greg Lashutka, program director.You can search for drug pricing and participating pharmacies at Ohio Drug Card Program.The card is pre-activated and can be used at any participating pharmacy. Most major pharmacies, as well as thousands of independent pharmacies, accept the card.Participating pharmacies include K-mart, Rite Aid, Walgreens and CVS, to name a few.
