Hit And Run Suspect In Court

Today a woman who's accused of hitting another young woman with a car and killing her is facing a judge.

Police said Amana Hudock, 22, struck Mary Carroll, 23, last month with a car and then fled the scene.

Police found Carroll lying in the road after being hit on the corner of Newell Avenue and Butler in downtown St. Clairsville.

Police say Hudock is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. That charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, along with her license being suspended permantly.

A grand jury has already reviewed this case and today Hudock will be inside the Belmont County courtroom for her arraignment.
