Caution Urged When Stockpiling Gas

Filling up and stashing away. That’s what people are doing to cope with the high price of gas.

Firefighters are warning that stockpiling gas could be deadly.

Steubenville fire crews said consumers need to make sure the container used is rated, which means it’s been tested to store gasoline safely.

Assistant Fire Chief Samuel Ivkovich said consumers need to remember that gasoline and the fumes are highly flammable.
