Casino Worker Pleads Guilty To Bribery Charges

A former Wheeling Island Casino worker accused of trying to steal poker chips and bribing a lottery official pleaded guilty in an Ohio County courtroom Friday.

Michael Ditaranto pleaded guilty to one felony count of bribery.

The prosecutor said Ditaranto tried to bribe a lottery official, but that person went straight to the police.

Ditaranto’s sentencing is set for June.
