Truck Crashes Into Home

A truck crashed into a home Thursday night and troopers said the driver didn’t even stop.Troopers said the crash happened just before midnight on State Route 149, just outside of the Neffs area. They said they found and cited the driver of the truck Friday morning. Police said the homeowner helped them catch the driver.Homeowner Edwin Hall said most of the damage is to the foundation and to a more than 20-year-old tree in his front yard, all of which he said is fixable. Hall is just glad his two young boys, who were sleeping right above where the home took the most impact, are OK. Hall also said he is glad he lives in a flood area because that’s the reason his house is up as high as it is.NEWS9 is waiting to hear back from troopers as to whether the driver suffered any injuries.Troopers said the driver was not arrested, only cited.Stay with NEWS9 and WTOV9.com for more details.
