Three juveniles were arrested, accused of burglarizing several homes in Steubenville. During the latest burglary, police said the homeowner caught the teens in the act.

A witness told police he spotted three teens breaking into a home on South Bend Boulevard. Police said one juvenile got into the house, but the homeowner caught him in the basement and struggled with him.

The teens took off but police later found them on Bellview Boulevard and linked them to the crimes.

“Upon investigation they did locate the three juveniles. Upon further investigation, the juveniles appeared to be involved in two to three other break-ins,” said Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty.
