Carroll County Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Student

A Carroll County teacher is facing charges after he allegedly had sex with a student.Mark Commons was a teacher and wrestling coach at Malvern High School, Carroll County Sheriff Dale Williams said.Commons allegedly started a relationship with a 16-year-old student through text messaging in September. Williams said the girl's mother called police after Commons tried to break into to the girl's home this weekend.Commons was arrested early Tuesday morning. He's charged with two felony sexual battery charges.NEWS9 put calls into Brown Local School District officials to find out the teacher's status.
