Traveling Vietnam Memorial To Stop In Jefferson County

A wall dedicated to fallen soldiers will make its way to the Ohio Valley on Thursday.About 4,000 motorcyclists will escort the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall to the Jefferson County Airpark.The motorcade will go down state Route 7 south to Route 213, then onto U.S. Route 22. From there, they will travel to Route 43 through Main Street in Winterville and onto Fernwood Boulevard, then to the airpark.

Delores Smith, spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Airpark, said help is needed to assemble the wall."We want as many people to come out and show their support," Smith said.The wall will be on display at the airpark Thursday through Sunday.
