Deputies Arrest Four Undocumented Workers

Ohio County deputies arrested four suspected illegal immigrants on Thursday afternoon, after police said they caught them working at the Highlands.

Deputies told NEWS9 they caught Francisco Javier Jaimes-Arroyo, Gaudenoio Gatica-Gonzalez, Juan Santos, and Jeremias Santos-Hernandez working at the Highlands for an independent contractor.

Police arrested the four men around 3:15 p.m.

Sgt. Nelson Croft told NEWS9 the suspected illegals were working for independent contractor Advantage Industrial Services out of North Carolina.

Croft said the men told deputies their boss knew they were in the country illegally.

Deputies took all four to the West Virginia Northern Regional Jail until immigration officials headed in to pick them up.
