WETZEL COUNTY, W.Va. -- New Martinsville Police Chief Tim Cecil told NEWS9 they are searching for 24-year-old Troy Hammerstone at the New Martinsville Marina.

Cecil said they received the phone call at about 6 p.m., and witnesses who were with Hammerstone told authorities he was jumping off the dock and never resurfaced.

The search was called off Thursday evening.

The New Martinsville police , along with the volunteer fire department and Wetzel County Sheriff's Department will be out searching for Hammerstone Friday morning at 8 a.m.
