Police Identify Man Sought In Post Office Shooting

POSTED: 2:49 pm EDT July 18, 2008
UPDATED: 6:29 pm EDT July 18, 2008

Police are searching for a man who they say shot a female employee Friday afternoon at the Dallas Post Office in Marshall County.

Sheriff John Gruzinskas said the unidentified employee was wounded twice with shotgun blasts, then airlifted to a hospital in Morgantown for treatment.

He does not know her current condition but said she was able to call 911 and describe her attacker.

Police and federal postal inspectors are now hunting for 39-year-old Todd Dolin Jr. of the Moundsville area.

Gruzinskas said Dolin left the shotgun at the scene, but people should consider him armed and dangerous.

Anyone who sees him should call 911, not approach him.

Dolin is believed to be driving a maroon or dark purple quad-cab pickup with West Virginia plates reading 6U1184.
