West Virginia State Police located the truck belonging to 80-year-old James Lohr around 1 p.m. Monday. The body of Lohr, of Valley Grove, was located last week in the Ohio River in Brooke County.

According to Corporal Gibson of the Wellsburg detachment of the WVSP, intense police work led to locating the 1995 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck in a salvage yard in West Alexander, Pa.

As of Tuesday morning, police have not named any suspects in the case but are on the lookout for more evidence. Police want to know what happened to Lohr’s other vehicle, a 1989 maroon Ford F-150 with WV plate 1EE489.

From the beginning, police suspected foul play. Once the body was recovered from the river in Brooke County, it was noted that Lohr was weighed down with some sort of object. Police then labeled the case as a homicide investigation.
