Thursday, July 24, 2008 – updated: 3:32 pm EDT July 24, 2008

A man suspected of killing his father, weighing his body down and tossing him in the river is back in the Ohio Valley.

James Lohr Jr., 40, of Triadelphia, was extradited from Shelby County, where he was arrested Wednesday.

Lohr Jr. is suspected of killing his 80-year-old father, whose body was found by fisherman in the Ohio River last week.

A criminal complaint says the body of James Lohr Sr. was wrapped in a dark tarp and bound with duct tape and electrical cords.

Police previously said they believe there may be more than one person involved in the slaying. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
