One Week After Fatal Shooting, Dallas Post Office Reopens

One week after a postmaster was shot and killed in Marshall County, the post office where she served is open again.Last Friday, police said Todd Dolin fatally shot Lua Wolverton inside the Dallas office.Since then, the post office has been closed and Valley Grove's office has been handling the mail for Dallas.Wheeling Postmaster Randal Link was at the Dallas office Friday morning to make sure things were operating smoothly.Link said the post office was able to move operations to Valley Grove in a day and added that "everybody's pitched in from surrounding offices." Dolin, 39, is charged with first-degree murder. Lawyers said Dolin and the victim had a son together.Stay with NEWS9 and WTOV9.com for continuing coverage.
