Ohio state troopers said they believe a medical problem may have sent a Belmont County driver gliding into a guardrail on state Route 7 Thursday, causing his car to burst into flames.Troopers said the crash happened just before 11 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Shadyside. After the car crashed into the guardrail, it barreled over the hillside and caught fire.Investigators said they think the driver may have suffered a stroke, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.Trooper Roger Clark said the man was not seriously injured in the crash because construction workers saw the fire and stopped to free the man from the wreckage. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
