Bellaire Elementary School Without Heat

Posted: 5:10 pm EDT October 27, 2008

As chilling temperatures hit the Valley, a local elementary school is expected to be without heat this week.

Administrators at Bellaire St. John Elementary notified parents to send their children to school Monday with warm clothes like sweat pants and sweat shirts.

School officials said if temperatures get too cold, classes will be moved to the church basement or rectory until the heat is fixed.

The heating system is expected to be back up and running by Friday.
