Two Weirton hotels are seeing more business because of the football playoffs.

Weir High School and Weirton Madonna are both hosting teams from outside of the area Friday night in the West Virginia playoffs.

Barb Owens, manger of the Baymont Inn & Suites in Weirton, said they have filled 15 rooms with parents and family members of visiting teams

However, Owens said in the past when Weirton teams were involved in playoff games, her hotel would be sold out.
