STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -- Two people were taken into custody Friday night in connection with a beating and stabbing in Steubenville. Jefferson County law enforcement told NEWS9 that Christopher Donald Woods and Othello D. Curry were taken into custody on Oak Grove Avenue.

The arrests stem from an ongoing police investigation into a man who was found beaten and stabbed under a bridge on Lincoln Avenue late Thursday night.

The victim was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment. He not only had knife wounds but also severe head injuries.
