Snow Forces Schools To Delay, Cancel Classes

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has reopened Interstate 70 near the Belmont/Guernsey County line after a series of car crashes Monday night. The interstate closed after nearly a dozen crashes around 11 p.m. No one was series injured.The OSHP reported one crash early Monday morning in Jefferson County.
School Delays and Closings
NEWS9’s Jasmine Lo reports from Ohio County that snow has been removed from a majority of I-70, but many side roads remain snow covered. The WVDOT has called in extra crews to clear the roadway.In Marshall County, two salt vehicles were involved in seperate crashes.No problems have been reported in Brooke or Hancock County.An accident on the Parkway West, going into Pittsburgh, near Green Tree hill shut the parkway down Tuesday morning.Stay with NEWS9 and WTOV9.com for updates throughout the day.
