Mingo Junction police said they caught Dustin J. Starr, 21, of Mingo Junction, running along McClister Avenue, with a large knife hanging out of his pants, and blood on his hands.

Police said they found jewelry and cash on Starr, and arrested him on charges of public intoxication,and carrying a concealed weapon. Later, police got a call about a burglary, and linked Starr to the crime.

They believed his bloody hand came from breaking a window to get into the home.

Starr is in the Jefferson County Jail pending felony burglary and receiving stolen property charges.
