Preparations are under way in Marshall County for the National Flag Football Tournament.

The event is also expected to bring many people to Ohio County, as players will be staying overnight in Wheeling.

Organizers said 24 teams will participate in the games over the weekend.

The event is the same weekend as the Super Six Championship, which means officials in Ohio and Marshall counties are preparing for a busy weekend.

The local tournament chairman said they are encouraging players to visit the Festival of Lights and shop at area stores.

Teams are coming from Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Virginia, among other states.

This is the second time the games have taken place in West Virginia.
