WHEELING, W. Va. -- They don't call it a "telethon," they call it a "Hometown Celebration."WVU Children's Hospital hosts an annual televised fundraiser on WTOV9 each December, and this year they had a lot to celebrate.Pledges collected during the hour-long live broadcast totalled $2,335.00.NEWS9's Shelby Zarotney and Eric Minor hosted the event, which featured live interviews with WVU physicians, nurses and specialists.The program also featured live interviews with the families of former WVU Children's Hospital patients.Click here to make a contribution.
