Police: Toronto Pharmacy Burglar Caught

TORONTO, Ohio -- Toronto police said they've arrested the man who has been breaking into a local pharmacy through the drive-through window to steal cough medicine.Police said Thomas R. Smith II will most likely face breaking and entering and theft charges.They arrested him Friday night at this home on State Route 152 after getting a tip.Police said he broke into the Toronto Apothecary Pharmacy three times and has admitted to police that feeding an addiction was his motive.Formal charges are pending. Smith was taken to the Jefferson County Justice Center.
