Four Injured In Crash Involving School Bus

Four people were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Monroe County on Wednesday.

The crash involved a Switzerland of Ohio school bus and was reported shortly before 4 p.m. on Route 800 near Woodsfield.

Investigators said four people in two cars were injured and transported to a hospital.

The bus was letting children off when a car in the opposite lane stopped. Another car struck the first vehicle, causing it to crash into the bus.

Emergency workers said no students were seriously injured, but some students suffered bumps and bruises.

Parents were still picking their children up from the crash site as of 5 p.m.
