ODOT Announces $150 Million In Projects For The Valley

The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced 90 projects planned for the area in 2009.

In Bellaire, the state Route 149 relocation project should be complete next year. It will cost more than $6 million.

Columbiana County has a $10 million project proposed for U.S. Route 30 and state Route 11, which will cover about 10 miles.

In Harrison County, a project to resurface Route 22 will cover almost four miles from Hopedale to the Jefferson County line.

ODOT will also invest almost $9 million for interstate 77 resurfacing in Tuscarawas County. This project will take about two years to complete.

This construction season is estimated to cost $150 million.
