A group representing people who have been abused by priests is calling for the Catholic Church to implement stricter policies.Survivors Network Of Those Abused By Priests, or SNAP, is asking the Diocese of Steubenville and Bishop Daniel Conlon to step up their policies on abuse by priests. The request comes after allegations of child abuse surfaced last week against Rev. John Nadzam, a priest who served in several parishes in the diocese and is now deceased.Thursday, the organization brought a letter to the bishop in which they asked, among other things, that he and the diocese take a more active approach in seeking out victims of abuse in the diocese."We are here just reaching out to other victims," said SNAP director Judy Block.Diocese officials said they encourage any victims of abuse to come forward and notify the diocese.
