New Philadelphia Police Investigating 3 Robberies

Police in New Philadelphia are searching for two men responsible for three robberies this week.

The first robbery happened Monday morning at the Kwik Fill gas station on West High Street.

Then, just after 8 p.m. Wednesday, and armed man demanded money from a clerk at the Circle K gas station on Tuscarawas Avenue.

Early Thursday, an armed robber struck again at the Eagle Truck Stop on 16th Street Southwest.

Police said the robber in the last two cases is described as a white male with a husky build, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds.

Officers said the robber has sandy-blond hair and wore black sweatpants. He got away with cash and fled on foot.
