In Marshall County, deputies are investigating the death of Michael Yoho, of New Martinsville after he was discovered dead off North Fork Road, just south of Cameron.

Marshall County Sheriff John Gruzinskas said Yoho had suffered injuries before the ATV crash which injuries investigators believe are the result of criminal activity.

Yoho’s family had reported him missing over the weekend.

Investigators are waiting on autopsy results to determine whether Yoho died as a result of the criminal activity or the ATV crash that followed.

“That will change how we approach this whether it will be manslaughgter charges or something along those lines,” said Gruzinskas.

Gruzinskas is hoping someone who witnessed the criminal activity before the ATV crash will come forward.
