Police in Carroll County arrested two men on burglary charges over the weekend.

Michael Bowditch, 19, and Gregory Scott, 21, are charged with attempted burglary and breaking and entering in addition to several other charges.

Officials with the Sheriff’s Department said the men were taken into custody after someone saw them trying to break into a home in the village of Minerva.

Once the men were in custody, authorities said they found criminal tools in Scott’s possession.
