Man Arrested On Charges He Stole Power Tools, Generator From Dad

A Carroll County man was arrested on charges he stole two chain saws and a generator from his father.

According to a news release from the sheriff's department, Charles W. Samples, 18, of Bowerston, faces felony counts of breaking and entering as well as theft.

Samples was arrested Friday at his home after he was found in possession of the stolen generator, the sheriff said. Investigators said the items were stolen from his father's property on June 24.

Samples is being held at the Carroll County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
