Belmont County Motorcycle Crash Turns Fatal

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- A motorcycle ride turned deadly after a local man crashed near the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville Friday night.The motorcycle driver, a Flushing man in his 30s, died on the way to the hospital, according to Sheriff Fred Thompson.His female passenger was also rushed to Ohio Valley Medical Center with serious injuries.The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. on mall property.The sheriff said the motorcycle driver was seen driving pretty fast around a bend, before hitting a curb and going airborne.The victim's identities are not being released until deputies can notify family members.
